About Me

Hello! My name is Cassie, and I specialize in costume design, costume technology, and hair and makeup for the stage.

​Besides working professionally as a designer and technician, I am also an educator; I am deeply passionate about helping to instill a love of my craft and teaching tools and techniques that will help students grow and pursue their own passions in theatre and beyond. I am currently Assistant Professor of Costume Design and Production at the University of Central Missouri.

Originally from Kansas, I have had the pleasure to work and study in a wide variety of venues and institutions around the country. I have loved every opportunity to act as both collaborator and mentor.

I hold my Masters of Fine Arts for Costume Design and Production from the University of Alabama as well as my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Emporia State University.
